Depends on the location and size of the project. Our local minimum residential charge for a skilled worker & a helper is $80 per hour with a minimum order of $99. If the job is far from Russellville, we may need to charge a higher minimum.
What if I don't think your guys are working fast enough for the price?
You may tell us to quit working and stop charging any more minutes at any time. You may decide that our team is done right at 60 minutes and all that you will pay is the trip charge of $119 + tax if applicable.
What happens around two hours?
We as the "Two Hour Handyman" may decide around the two hour mark that we are finishing up and will require another appointment if necessary to complete your job. If you would like us to keep working and all of our schedules allow extra time, we may be able to stay longer at $119/hour ($1.983/minute).
What if your guys make a mistake that costs me billed time?
Everyone makes mistakes. If our crew makes a mistake while we're on the clock, it is only fair that we back up the clock reasonably to correct the error.
How do I prepare for my appointment?
Please prepare for your appointment by pre-purchasing all supplies and having them ready at the job site.
Also, please take pictures of the jobsite and send them to us (text or email) so that we will be ready to tackle the job in a timely manner. Pictures of installation manuals that we may review in advance are also very helpful to save you time.
Are pictures of the job site mandatory?
Not always. But because most people have smart phones, pictures are easy to text or email. Those pics will save tons of time for you and ensure a great experience with our team.
What if I don't know what supplies I need?
With the pictures you send over, our team is more than happy to give you a shopping list of what you will need for us to complete your project.
What if I don't want to go to the store to buy supplies?
If you definitely can't or don't want to pre-purchase the supplies needed. We can go and shop for the needed supplies for you at $119/hour. We will simply start the clock at the store, then pause for the commute to your place, then restart when we begin the work.
Do you provide free estimates?
We do not provide on-site free estimates or time estimates. Our charge for in person estimates is our trip charge of $119. Please consider sending over jobsite pictures via text or email.
Also, we simply cannot guarantee how much time any particular job will take. For a better idea of job completion time, we recommend searching the internet for how long it typically takes for job you want completed. We will certainly do our best to work in an efficient, timely manner with high quality workmanship.
Can you do work that requires a license? HVAC, Plumbing, Electric, etc.
No, we focus on small jobs that can be completed legally by a handyman.
What if my city code requires a permit for the work to be done?
Please cooperate with all codes and have a permit in advance for any work we can help with as a handyman company.
Do you do contract work or bid larger jobs?
We currently do not have an Arkansas contractor's license and so are limited by law to do jobs that the supplies and labor cost less than $2000 at a residence or $49,000 at a business. However, if we can split up the invoicing for your large job into invoices of $1999 or less, we may be able to help.
We specifically want to focus on small jobs. Smaller jobs will not block our schedule for weeks and weeks. That way we can remain more available for our clients and have a better work life balance for the sake of our families.
